These are the stories of some cool outdoors experiences, like diving, hiking, running and hopefully more. This series of posts started when we moved to Malaysia and discovered diving. It quickly became our expensive hobby (every grown up has to have an expensive hobby, right?), we’ve got our licences at Tioman and are now having regular 2-3 dive trips a year.
Then there’s also hiking and trekking. I started this category right after we got back home from the outdoors shop with a pair of new hiking boots. Too bad the trip they were meant to debut in didn’t happen, but hopefully one day this category will become fuller.
Running is my journey from couch to a marathon, so that’s not the typical type of writing you will see here, but it’s still an experience AND it’s kind of outdoors, so I thought I’d write it down here as well.
We’ve heard about this little island 3okm North from Langkawi. But knowing there is no decent diving in Langkawi as it’s technically the Strait of Malacca, we thought nothing good can be so close by. And were mistaken!
